Local Attractions

Wildwood Wildlife Park Zoo & Safari is home to over 1,700 animals and 229 species! A visit to the Giraffe Serengeti brings you close enough to one of the tallest mammals in the world. When the giraffe leans down to nibble out of your hand, they might steal a kiss from you instead! 

The oldest amateur water ski show int the world, the Min-Aqua Bats Water Ski Club originated in 1950 with a group of local young people water skiing on Sunday afternoons. After noticing their efforts were attracting an audience, the skiers decided to put together a show. The Min-Aqua Bats Water Ski Club was born.

Named for the Bearskin Creek the trail follows, this former railroad corridor is an opportunity to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin. The railroad line was built to export white pine logs from the forests of northern Wisconsin to the cities of the Midwest. Today the trail is a 21.5-mile recreation corridor between Minocqua and Tomahawk, surfaced with compacted granite suitable for walking and bicycling in summer and snowmobiling in winter.

We are an American Grill featuring locally-sourced ingredients, scratch cocktails, homemade desserts, and kid-friendly options. We feature daily dinner features, gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Maverick’s excels in providing elevated Mexican fare. The menu consists of commonly found recipes that are made with uncommonly fresh ingredients and uniquely-made sides. Great selection of tequilas and friendly, attentive staff. Great selection of gluten-free options as well.

Minocqua Pizza Company is a casual restaurant located one mile south of downtown Minocqua. We serve hand-tossed pizza, giant calzones, and appetizers such as billy bread, chicken wings, cheese curds, and more.

Local bar and grill with craft beer, and cocktails. Tasty burgers, sandwiches and pizza in a relaxed casual atmosphere.
